Folk artists Promotion scheme will soon be launched in Chhattisgarh

Raipur 22 November/ To promote folk artists of the state, State Government will soon be launched folk artists promotion scheme. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has directed Chief Secretary to take necessary action in the direction. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that folk artists are an important part of the cultural identity of the state, but often they have to go through tough circumstances, which adversely affects their practice of the art. State Government would soon launch Folk Artist Promotion Scheme for welfare and promotion of the local folk artists.
