Chief Minister’s initiative : Action plan to be made to promote ‘Maanas Mandali’ in state

Chief Minister gives instructions to make action plan for providing grant for registration, musical instruments etc to folk musical troupes
Chhattisgarh Government will be promoting traditional ‘maanas mandali’ of the state. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions to Chief Secretary to prepare an action plan for providing grants to ‘manas mandali’ (folk musical troupes) for registration, musical instruments etc.
Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh has a tradition of folk musical troupes, which has played an important role in shaping our culture. These folk musical troupes not only upheld the tradition of dance and music in the state but also contributed in inculcating the values of fraternity, harmony, and morality in the society. Such folk musical troupes are their across the state, even in remote areas, which have been upholding this traditional art for generations. Officials have been directed to make an action plan for providing grants for registration and musical instruments etc.
