India closed on 26 Feb 2021, more than 8 crore traders will go on strike for these demands

The Confederation of All India Traders, a trade union, has called for a Bharat Bandh tomorrow (26 February) to demand a review of the provisions of GST. Tomorrow, all markets will be closed across the country. CAT (CAIT) says that around 8 crore traders will join the strike. Under the leadership of CAT, it has decided to shut down the country demanding withdrawal of irrational provisions on GST and ban on e-commerce company. Transport organization gives support: With the rising price of petrol and diesel, All India Transport Welfare Association has supported the closure of CAT. The organization has announced to drive around the country. Other national trade organizations also supported the shutdown. This includes All India FMCG Distributors’ Federation, Federation of Aluminum Utensil Manufacture and Traders, All India Computer Dealers Association, etc. Traders have to pay tax again: CAT national president B.C. Bhartia said that due to the absurd provisions of GST, traders have to pay tax again. This was not so in the era of the Mughals and the British. KAT’s National General Secretary Khandelwal said that GST is a completely failed tax system. Has played with its original form. No government is concerned about its simplification. Seeking intervention from Prime Minister Modi: Earlier on Sunday, CAT wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding intervention in this matter. In his letter, he mentioned violation of e-commerce rules. Also suggested that a group may be formed in each district to monitor GST. With this, steps can also be taken to expand tax and increase revenue. http://webworldnews.in

(Confederation of All India Traders)
