FASTAG fitted vehicles have the facility to move in toll plazas without any restriction. However, due to the arbitrariness and hooliganism of toll workers, the trouble of drivers has increased. Many times, there are double faults being charged from fastgram vehicles here due to technical flaws. Bhojpuri toll plaza of Hirri area has 16 lanes for movement of vehicles, in which NHI has given instructions to install all sensors except two lanes. So that fastag devices installed in vehicles can be scanned through sensors. As per the provisions of NHI, only two lanes are for drivers paying cash charges. Any fast lane is allowed to pass fastag vehicles. However, all the lanes of the toll plaza have not yet been censored. At the same time, the lane where the sensors are installed has technical flaws, which is being claimed to try to remove it from day one. However, the imperfections have not yet been removed. Due to this, only four lanes have been arranged for the movement of vehicles. At the same time, fastgram vehicles are also being charged twice as an excuse for technical flaws and server down. Toll workers start committing arbitrariness and hooliganism on protesting. Due to this, people do not want to get involved by remaining silent. Toll personnel said that this arrangement has been made as the software is not updated. He says that there is not much congestion of vehicles right now. Due to this, the fast-mounted vehicles are not facing any problem. While manager Dharampal says that there are no such flaws. Fastag fitted vehicles are not being charged double.
फास्टैग लगे वाहन चालकों की कम नहीं हो रही मुसीबत
फास्टैग लगे वाहनों को टोल प्लाजा में बिना किसी रोकटोक के आवाजाही करने की सुविधा है। लेकिन, टोल कर्मियों की मनमानी व गुंडागर्दी के चलते वाहन चालकों की मुसीबत बढ़ गई है। कई बार तकनीकी खामी बताकर यहां फास्टैग लगे वाहनों से दोगुना शुल्क वसूल किया जा रहा है। हिर्री क्षेत्र के भोजपुरी टोल प्लाजा में वाहनों की आवाजाही के लिए 16 लेन बनी हंै, जिसमें एनएचआइ ने दो लेन को छोड़कर सभी सेंसर लगाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। ताकि वाहनों में लगे फास्टैग डिवाइस को सेंसर के जरिए स्केन किया जा सके। एनएचआइ के प्रविधान के अनुसार सिर्फ दो लेन नकद शुल्क जमा करने वाले वाहन चालकों के लिए है। शेष किसी भी लेन में फास्टैग लगे वाहनों को गुजरने की छूट है। लेकिन, टोल प्लाजा के सभी लेन में अब तक सेंसर नहीं लग पाया है। वहीं, जिस लेन में सेंसर लगे हैं, उनमें तकनीकी खामियां है, जिसे पहले दिन से दूर करने की कोशिश करने का दावा किया जा रहा है। लेकिन, खामियों को अब तक दूर नहीं किया जा सका है। इसके चलते वाहनों की आवाजाही के लिए मात्र चार लेन की व्यवस्था की गई है। वहीं, तकनीकी खामी व सर्वर डाउन होने का बहाना बनाकर फास्टैग लगे वाहनों से भी दोगुना शुल्क लिया जा रहा है। विरोध करने पर टोल कर्मी मनमानी व गुंडागर्दी करने लगते हैं। इसके चलते चुपचाप रहकर लोग उलझना नहीं चाहते। टोल कर्मियों ने बताया कि साफ्टवेयर अपडेट नहीं होने के कारण यह व्यवस्था बनाई गई है। उनका कहना है कि अभी वाहनों की ज्यादा भीड़ नहीं है। इसके चलते फास्टैग लगे वाहनों को दिक्कत नहीं हो रही है। जबकि मैनेजर धरमपाल का कहना है कि इस तरह की कोई खामियां नहीं है। फास्टैग लगे वाहनों से दोगुना शुल्क नहीं लिया जा रहा है।
