Chief Minister inaugurates Integrated Single Window System for approval of residential colonies : Housing and Environment Department launches ‘Integrated Single Window System’

Approval process for residential colony made simple and transparent
Single window for submission of all the documents

Permit to be issued within 100-140 days
No more running from pillar to post in government offices

Information regarding application redressal status to be provided through SMS
Application under this system can be submitted from December 15

Raipur, 25 November 2019 / Chief Minster Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated ‘CG Aawaas’ Single Window System developed by Housing and Environment Department for approval of residential colonies, at his office in Legislate Assembly premise. Through this system, land diversion certificates, approved documents, permit for colony development all will be issued from single window within given time-limit. Housing and Environment Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar presided over the programme. The trial of single window system launched today will commence from December 1 and from December 15, people will be able to submit application through this system.
This single window system developed by Chhattisgarh Government’s Housing and Environment Department will make the entire process of getting approval for residential colonies simple, easily accessible and transparent. All the documents can be submitted thrrough single window, after which development permit will be issued within 100-140 days. Earlier, applicants had to run from pillar to post in concerned offices to get information about the status of their application redressal, but now single window system will save the applicants from the inconvenience. Required No Objection Certificates will also be issued from this single window. Earlier, issuance of residential colony development permit used to take one and half to two years, but now this procedure has been made time-bound. Now applicants will be able to get the permit within 100-140 days. Applicant will be able to track the progress in application redressal through SMS, they won’t have to go to office all the way. On the occasion, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi, Special Secretary Housing and Environment Ms Sangeeta P, Deputy Secretary Housing and Environment Mr. Bhoskar Vilaas Sandeepan and other department officials were present.
