The National Commission for Women commended the Department of Women and Child Development for excellent work in the Corona period

Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak, President of Chhattisgarh State Women’s Commission Certificate submitted to Women and Child Development Minister

Under the direction of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the work done in Chhattisgarh in Kovid epidemic is being appreciated at the national level. The National Commission for Women has lauded the work of the Chhattisgarh Women and Child Development Department for its outstanding work during the Corona period. The National Commission for Women has awarded Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak, Chairperson of Chhattisgarh State Women’s Commission in New Delhi for the commendable teamwork of field staff in Chhattisgarh. In Raipur, Dr. Nayak handed over this certificate to the Minister of Women and Child Department Anila Bhendia.
Chief Minister Baghel and Minister Bhendia have congratulated the Anganwadi workers, assistants and all field staff on getting the certificate. Smt. Bhendia said that the Women and Child Development Department has also worked in action mode under lockdown under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In the event of Anganwadi closure, Anganwadi workers and Sahayika sisters went door-to-door to distribute drought rations and ready-to-eat and made people aware of corona infection. During this period, elementary education of children and guardians of children was also explained to them. Efforts were being made to eradicate malnutrition in the state, it was not allowed to stop even during the Corona period.
Nayak said that in the function of the honor of the Chairmen of the Women’s Commission of all the states of the country organized by the National Commission for Women in New Delhi, the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Shri Prakash Javadekar also called upon the Chhattisgarh State Women Commission to protect women and their rights. The work done is processed. Shri Javadekar said that in Chhattisgarh, the fast action is being taken to protect the honor of women, it is not being reflected in any other state. At the function, Chairperson of National Commission for Women, Smt. Rekha Sharma also called the Government of Chhattisgarh alert and sensitive in the matter of women.
Dr. Nayak said that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given a lot of power to the State Women’s Commission in Chhattisgarh. The Commission is working promptly in providing justice to women at a rapid pace with the cooperation of the police and administration on the directions of the Chief Minister. The state of Chhattisgarh has mobilized a large number of people to provide justice to women during the Kovid-lockdown. The Chhattisgarh Women’s Commission has so far heard 11 hundred cases in 44 Jansunwai in 5 months, in which about 400 cases have been resolved. In Chhattisgarh, in the public hearing of the Women’s Commission, the Collector and Superintendent of Police of all the districts get the support. The instructions of the Women’s Commission are strictly followed. The manner in which police-administration is working promptly in the redressal of complaints of women in Chhattisgarh is not happening anywhere in the country.

राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग ने कोरोना काल में उत्कृष्ट कार्य के लिए महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग की सराहना की

मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल के निर्देशन में कोविड महामारी में छत्तीसगढ़ में किये गए कार्यों की सराहना राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर हो रही है। राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग ने कोरोना काल में उत्कृष्ट कार्य के लिए छत्तीसगढ़ महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग के कार्यों की सराहना की है। राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग ने नई दिल्ली में छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य महिला आयोग की अध्यक्ष डॉ. किरणमयी नायक को छत्तीसगढ़ में विभाग के मैदानी अमले के सराहनीय टीम वर्क के लिए प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किया है। रायपुर में आज डॉ. नायक ने महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्री श्रीमती अनिला भेंड़िया को यह प्रमाण पत्र सौंपा।
मुख्यमंत्री बघेल और मंत्री भेंड़िया ने आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता, सहायिकाओं सहित सभी मैदानी अमले को प्रमाण-पत्र मिलने पर बधाई दी है। श्रीमती भेंड़िया ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेश बघेल के मार्गदर्शन में लॉकडॉउन में भी महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग ने एक्शन मोड में काम किया है। आंगनबाड़ी बंद होने की स्थिति में आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता और सहायिका बहनों ने घर-घर जाकर सूखा राशन और रेडी-टू-ईट वितरण किया और लोगों को कोरोना संक्रमण के प्रति जागरूक किया। इस दौरान घरों में बच्चों की प्रांरभिक शिक्षा और अभिभावकों को बच्चों की देखरेख के विषय में भी समझाया गया। प्रदेश में कुपोषण मुक्ति की दिशा में जो प्रयास किये जा रहे थे, उसे कोरोना काल में भी थमने नहीं दिया गया इसके लिए सभी बधाई के पात्र हैं।
श्रीमती नायक ने बताया कि राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग द्वारा नई दिल्ली में आयोजित देश के सभी राज्यों के महिला आयोग के अध्यक्षों के सम्मान समारोह में केन्द्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री श्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने भी छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य महिला आयोग द्वारा महिलाओं को न्याय और उनके अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए किए गए कार्यों की प्रसंशा की है। श्री जावड़ेकर ने कहा कि जिस तरह छत्तीसगढ़ में महिलाओं के सम्मान की रक्षा के लिए त्वरित कार्यवाही की जा रही है, वैसा किसी और राज्य में परिलक्षित नहीं हो रहा है। समारोह में राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग की अध्यक्ष श्रीमती रेखा शर्मा ने भी महिलाओं के मामले में छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार को सजग और संवेदनशील बताया।
डॉ. नायक ने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने छत्तीसगढ़ में राज्य महिला आयोग को बहुत ज्यादा शक्ति प्रदान की है। मुख्यमंत्री के दिशा-निर्देश पर ही पुलिस और प्रशासन से सहयोग लेकर तीव्र गति से महिलाओं को न्याय दिलाने में आयोग तत्परता से काम कर रहा है। छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य ने कोविड-लॉकडाउन के दौरान महिलाओं को न्याय दिलाने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में जनसुनवाई की है। छत्तीसगढ़ महिला आयोग ने अब तक 5 महीनों में 44 जनसुनवाई में 11 सौ प्रकरणों की सुनवाई की है, जिसमें लगभग 400 मामलों का निराकरण किया गया है। छत्तीसगढ़ में महिला आयोग की जनसुनवाई में सभी जिलों के कलेक्टर, पुलिस अधीक्षक का सहयोग मिलता है। महिला आयोग के निर्देशों पर कड़ाई से पालन किया जाता है। छत्तीसगढ़ में महिलाओं के शिकायतों के निराकरण में जिस तरह पुलिस-प्रशासन तत्परता से कार्य कर रही है, वैसा पूरे देश में कहीं नहीं हो रहा है।
