Compassionate initiative of Chief Minister : Three Talented Students of Dantewada get admission in Private Medical College

Government to fund MBBS education of these Students in JNU Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center Jaipur

On Chief Minister’s instructions, Dantewada District Administration deposited admission fee of Rs one crore 36 lakh 74 thousand in the private medical college

Total expenditure on MBBS education of three students would add up to Rs 3 crore 32 lakh 25 thousand

Students who could not get admission for MBBS despite qualifying NEET, due to technical reason, would now get to make their dream come true

On Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s compassionate initiative, three talented students of remote region in Dantewada district would get to make their dream of becoming doctor come true. These three students of Boys Residential School Balood and Girls Residential School Karli, Dantewada have been given admission in a private medical college JNU Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Jaipur. Government has borne the expenses of admission in the college for these three students. District Administration has deposited Rs one crore 36 lakh 74 thousand as admission fee for these three students. It is the first time in the history of Chhattisgarh that a government has decided to fund MBBS education of students from remote region. It is known that these students from Boys Residential School Baalood and Girls Residential School Karli, Dantewada, run by District Administration for PET and PMT coaching, had qualified NEET 2020 but they could not regisiter for state-counseling for MBBS course and as a result they could not get admission in any of the medical colleges. Soon after Chief Minister recieved information about the matter, he compassionately addressed the problem and directed Dantewada District Administration to ensure admission of these students in private medical colleges at government’s expenses. Abiding by Chief Minister’s instructions. District Administration ensured admission of Sudheer Kumar Rajak, Jayant Kumar and Aishwarya Nag in private colleges. Total expenditure on MBBS education of these students in private college would be Rs 3 crore 32 lakh 25 thousand, out of which Rs one crore 36 lakh 74 thousand has been deposited by District Administration Dantewada.
