PET to commence from January 4
PET was postponed earlier in view of COVID crisis

On Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s instructions, Police Headquarters Raipur has released range-wise time-table of physical Efficiency test (PET) for recruitment of constrable cadre. Earlier, PET was postponed in view of COVID crisis. Now the schedule Physical Efficiency Test has been issued. PET would commence from January 4 and by 20th February 2021, release date of the list of selected candidates would be released.
As per the schedule issued by Director General of Police Mr. DM Awasthi for Physical Efficiency Test of constables and the remaining recruitment process, Inspector General of Police would constitute range-level recruitment committees by November 14.
Day-wise chart of physical efficiency test and candidates will be released by 15 December. According to the program released, physical efficiency test will be conducted from January 4, 2021 to February 3, 2021 for a total of 11 thousand 672 candidates of Raipur range. Similarly for 21 thousand 140 candidates of Durg range, PET would be held from 4 January to 6 February, for 5 thousand 649 candidates of Bilaspur range PET would be held from 4 January to 16 January, 3 thousand 588 candidates of Sarguja range it would be from January 4th to 12th. Physical proficiency test will be conducted from January 4 to January 19, 2021 for 6 thousand 710 candidates of Bastar range. The physical efficiency test has been scheduled for 100 and 800 meter races, long jump, high jump and shot put. Director General of Police Mr. Awasthi has given instructions to ensure strictly adherence to the guidelines issued by the Government of India and the Government of Chhattisgarh for prevention of covid-19 infection during physical efficiency test.
It is noteworthy that the schedule for physical efficiency examination was earlier scheduled from 1 April to 25 April, which was postponed due to the pandemic situation.
