Chief Minister attends Health Conclave
Raipur,27 November 2019/ Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Chhattisgarh Government is providing the highest amount of financial aid for treatment of critical diseases in the country. Dr Khubchand Baghel Health Support Scheme has been launched to provide treatment facilities to people in various hospotals of the state. In his address to the Health Conclave organized by News Channel Zee CG-MP, Chief Minister said that liver, kidney transplant and treatment of critical diseases such as cancer is expensive. Hence, Chhattisgarh Government has launched Mukhyamantri Vishash Swathya Sahayta Yojana. Under this scheme, treatment facilities worth Rs 5 lakh to Rs 20 lakh will be provided. On the occasion, awards were conferred upon for significant contribution in medical field and doctors were also facilitated.
Chief Minister said that state government has decided to establish traditional medicine board to conserve the traditional method of treatment with herbal medicines etc. He added that for better health, it is important to have awareness about and access to the balanced diet, sanitation etc. Nearly 37% of th children are under-nourished and 41% women are anemic, to eradicae which we started Suposhit Abhiyan in Dantewada and Bastar. As it turned out to be successful, this campaign was launched across the state on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
