Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh pays courtesy call on Union Defence Minister
Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today paid courtesy call on Defence Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh in New Delhi. In the meeting, Mr. Baghel requested Union Minister for early completion of pending works for establishing air base camp of Air Force. Mr. Baghel informed that earlier, Government of India had given permission to establish air base camp of Indian Air Force in Naya Raipur. He requested Mr. Rajnath Singh to take necessary initiative for establishing air base camp. Mr. Rajnath Singh assured that the pending cases of establishing air base camp will be redressed soon.
It is noteworthy that establishment of Indian Air Force’s air base camp is proposed in Naya Raipur. Land allotment and land acquisition process for this work is long-pending. In today’s meeting with Defence Minister, Mr. Baghel has requested for completion of pending works as soon as possible. On the occasion, Chief Minister gifted organic rice of Chhattisgarh and kosa kurta made of natural dyes created by weavers of the state, to Mr. Rajnath Singh.
