There is a lot of outrage among the journalists of the district due to the arrest of three Ballia journalists in the paper leak case by the Ballia district administration. On behalf of the Indian Journalist Association Ghazipur, journalists tied a black band and handed over a leaflet to the Deputy Collector Anirudh Singh in the name of the Governor, demanding that the senior journalists Digvijay Singh, Ajit Ojha and Manoj Gupta arrested in the paper leak case in the board examination should be arrested at the earliest. The police administration should release otherwise there will be a tremendous protest by journalists all over the state. Indian Journalist Association Ghazipur District President Sunil Singh said that the arrest of journalists by the Ballia administration is condemnable and disgusting, whichever is condemned is less. State Government Even the fourth pillar of the country is not spared, the administration has put the journalists in jail for hiding the mistakes at the behest of the copycats, while the three journalists are completely innocent. If the district administration does not release the journalists as soon as possible. So the journalists will be compelled to agitate on the road, the responsibility of which will be of the state government. During this, the journalists also raised slogans of Murdabad against the Ballia administration.
Journalists like Sunil Singh, Prabhakar Singh, Kashi Nath Singh, Abhishek Singh, Sushil Tiwari, Anjani Rai, Ikrar Khan, Asif Ansari, Krishna Kumar Mishra, Jaiprakash, Amit Kumar Gupta, Vipin etc. were present on the occasion.
बलिया के तीन पत्रकारों की गिरफ्तारी के विरोध में इंडियन जर्नलिस्ट एसोसिएशन ने उप जिलाधिकारी को सौंपा पत्रक।
इंडियन जर्नलिस्ट एसोसिएशन गाजीपुर इकाई के पदाधिकारियों ने बलिया के तीन पत्रकारों की गिरफ्तारी के विरोध में काली पट्टी बांध कर किया विरोध प्रदर्शन।

बलिया जिला प्रशासन द्वारा यूपी बोर्ड परीक्षा में पेपर लीक मामले में बलिया के तीन पत्रकारों की गिरफ्तारी को लेकर जिले के पत्रकारों में काफी आक्रोश है। इंडियन जर्नलिस्ट एसोसिएशन गाजीपुर की तरफ से पत्रकारों ने काली पट्टी बांधकर राज्यपाल के नाम उपजिलाधिकारी अनिरुद्ध सिंह को पत्रक सौपा जिसमे मांग की गई कि बोर्ड परीक्षा में पेपर लीक मामले में गिरफ्तार किए गए वरिष्ठ पत्रकार दिग्विजय सिंह,अजीत ओझा एंव मनोज गुप्ता की जल्द से जल्द पुलिस प्रशासन रिहाई करे अन्यथा पूरे प्रदेश में पत्रकारों द्वारा जबरदस्त तरीके से विरोध दर्ज किया जाएगा।इंडियन जर्नलिस्ट एसोसिएशन के गाज़ीपुर जिलाध्यक्ष सुनील सिंह ने कहा बलिया प्रशासन द्वारा पत्रकारों की गिरफ्तारी निंदनीय और घृणित है जिसकी जितनी भी निंदा की जाय वो कम है।प्रदेश सरकार देश के चौथे स्तंभ को भी नही बक्श रही है,प्रशासन नकलमाफ़िया की शह पर गलतियों को छिपाने के लिए पत्रकारों को ही गुनहगार मान जेल में डाल दिया,जबकि तीनो पत्रकार सरासर निर्दोष है।अगर जिलाप्रशासन पत्रकारों की रिहाई जल्द से जल्द से नही करता है तो पत्रकार सड़क पर उतरकर आंदोलन करने के लिए बाध्य होंगे जिसकी जिम्मेदारी प्रदेश सरकार की होगी।इस दौरान पत्रकारों ने बलिया प्रशासन के खिलाफ मुर्दाबाद के नारे भी लगाए।
मौके पर एसोसिएशन के जिलाध्यक्ष सुनील सिंह,प्रभाकर सिंह,काशी नाथ सिंह,अभिषेक सिंह,सुशील तिवारी,अंजनी राय,इकरार खान,आशिफ अंसारी,कृष्ण कुमार मिश्रा,जयप्रकाश,अमित कुमार गुप्ता,विपिन आदि पत्रकार मौजूद रहे।
