Emergency meeting of Indian Journalists Association (Chhattisgarh unit), strongly condemned the journalist attack

Raipur. All the office bearers of the Indian Journalists Association held an emergency meeting and in the meeting strongly condemned the deadly attack on a journalist of Sargaon by criminals, together it was decided that a memorandum would be given to the Governor regarding this incident and Demand will be made that this entire matter should be investigated by the police administration and strict action should be taken against the criminals. The incident, which has been carried out by the goons by openly entering the house of a journalist, raises questions on the law and order happening in the state, as well as the members of the association have decided that if any action is to be taken regarding this incident. If this is not done by the police administration in time, then there will be a sit-in demonstration with journalists across the state. In this meeting, State President of Indian Generalist Association Mazhar Iqbal, Senior Vice President Dr LS Uday, State Secretary and Spokesperson Syed Safiq, Secretary Altaf Hussain, Advocate Bharat Soni (Legal Advisor) etc. members were present.
