He said that the Rajasthan government passed the order on March 25 and it was decided to give 50 lakh assistance to his family members after the death of the journalist during treatment. The Rajasthan government’s decision to assist the families of journalists in this global epidemic is welcome. Similarly, Bihar government also demanded to provide assistance to families of deceased journalists from Covid-19. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has placed the journalist in the category of front line worker, but no initiative has been taken to save the life of journalists. He said that we are losing many of our journalist colleagues every day. News, news and information from newspapers, TV channels and social media are now creating panic. In this era of cruel times, the mind is distressed and restless. After every ill-fated information, it is becoming pain and denser, what will happen next, the apprehensions of it are also creating shiver…. In this dreadful phase of Corona, who is it… Occupational compulsions, power-institutional apathy or our own negligence… Whatever may be the reason, we have been lost every day. Journalists need to fight to survive in this situation. Being sensitive and rational, we are unable to raise our voice against the media house for our defense. But how long this will continue to happen. For this, we need to take the movement’s stance to move forward. Expressing deep condolences over the death of a journalist colleague from Corona, he has demanded Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to provide 50 lakh assistance to the family of the journalist without any delay. Otherwise the movement will be further intensified.
