Chief Minister Baghel extends hearty greetings of Republic Day to people of the state

Raipur, 25 January 2020/ Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has extended hearty greetings of 72nd Republic Day to people of the state. Chief Minister said in his message to public on the occasion that Republic Day is a celebration of democracy. On this day, Constitution was implemented. We wish that the freedom achieved as a result of sacrifices of our great heroes, the boon of democracy and our Constitution continues to strengthen and flourish.
Chief Minister said that the first sentence of the preface of our Constitution i.e. “We the People of India” has maintained the confidence of Indians in democratic values from January 26, 1950 to present. Our forefathers laid a strong foundation of India with the basic values of unity, integrity, freedom for every citizen, harmony, equality and justice. In these challenging circumstances, Chhattisgarh is committed to maintain the faith in Constitutional values.
Chief Minister said that even during the Corona crisis, the wheel of economic development in Chhattisgarh was continuously moving. The state has made remarkable achievements in all sectors including agriculture, industry, real estate. He said that schemes like Suraji Gaon Yojana, Godhan Nyaya Yojana and Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana were started to strengthen the rural economy in the state. As a result of implementation of these schemes, a new era of economic transformation has begun for Chhattisgarh. During the Corona crisis many new decisions were taken to provide relief to the poor, laborers, middle class and farmers. Social organizations, people of various sections of the society and the corona warriors played an important role in dealing with the pandemic. Mr. Baghel has called upon the people of the state to actively participate in realizing our forefathers’ vision of ‘Gadbo Nava Chhattisgarh’.

On the occasion of 72nd Republic Day, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will be unfurling the tricolour at Bastar District Headquarters Jagdalpur. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant will be hoisting the national in Janjgir-Champa district.
State Government’s General Administration Department has issued the list of Chief Guests for flag hoisting ceremony in district headquarters of the state. This year, parliamentary secretaries along with the state ministers have been made the Chief Guests for various programmes to be held on the occasion of Republic Day ceremony on January 26, which is as follows:- Home and PWD Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu will unfurl tricolor and take salute of the parade in Mahasamund, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. T.S. Singhdeo in Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey in Durg, School Education Minister Dr. Premasay Singh Tekam in Korba, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar in Rajnandgaon, Industry Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma in Kanker, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Daharia in Sarguja, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhendia in Raigarh, Public Health Engineering and Rural Industries Minister Guru Rudrakumar in Narayanpur, Revenue Minister Mr. Jai Singh Agarwal in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel in Bilaspur, and Food and Civil Supplies And Consumer Protection Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat will unfurl the national flag in Balod and take salute of the parade.
