Indian Journalist Association Western Uttar Pradesh Secretary Saqib Anwar said that journalists visiting Hathras for coverage are being stopped. This is a rebuke to freedom of expression. The Uttar Pradesh government is troubled by efforts to prevent it from exposing its mistakes. The truth of the rape victim’s death and the attitude of the administration has been revealed only by local journalists and small newspapers. He said that the media is today, saying that there will be no tomorrow, the District Magistrate who threatens the family of the victim should immediately get away from the district. Instead of stopping the media, the Yogi government should curb the arbitrariness of its officers.
Mainpuri district president of the Indian Journalist Association Ajay Dixit said that the Uttar Pradesh government should take tough measures against the district magistrate and police officers who misbehaved with media persons. Officers are trying unsuccessfully to hide their mistakes by preventing media persons from coverage. Association’s District Treasurer Deepak Sharma has said that the arbitrariness of the District Magistrate and the police officers is clear that the bureaucracy has come to dominate in Uttar Pradesh. Only MPs and MLAs of the ruling party are criticizing the Yogi government.
In Hathras, a complaint of misconduct with media persons will be made with the Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister and the Press Council of India.

انڈین جرنلسٹس ایسوسی ایشن نے ہاتراس میں زیادتی کا نشانہ بننے والی بچی کی موت کی کوریج کے دوران انتظامیہ اور پولیس عہدیداروں کے ذریعہ میڈیا افراد کے ساتھ بدسلوکی کی شدید مذمت کی ہے۔ ہاتراس کے ضلعی مجسٹریٹ اور پولیس سپرنٹنڈنٹ کے خلاف سخت کارروائی کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔
انڈین جرنلسٹس ایسوسی ایشن مغربی اتر پردیش کے ریاستی سکریٹری ثاقب انور نے کہا کہ ہاتراس میں کوریج کے لئے آنے والے صحافیوں کو روکا جارہا ہے۔ یہ اظہار رائے کی آزادی کو ملامت ہے۔ اترپردیش حکومت اپنی غلطیوں کو بے نقاب کرنے سے روکنے کی کوششوں سے پریشان ہے۔ عصمت دری کی شکار لڑکی کی موت کی حقیقت اور انتظامیہ کے رویہ کا انکشاف صرف مقامی صحافیوں اور چھوٹے اخباروں نے کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ میڈیا آج یہ کہہ رہا ہے کہ کل کوئی تعطیل نہیں ہوگا ، ضلعی مجسٹریٹ جو متاثرہ کے اہل خانہ کو دھمکی دیتا ہے وہ فوری طور پر ضلع سے دور ہوجائے۔ یوگی حکومت کو میڈیا کو روکنے کے بجائے اپنے افسران کی من مانی کو روکنا چاہئے۔
انڈین جرنلسٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے مین پوری ضلعی صدر اجے ڈکشٹ نے کہا کہ اتر پردیش حکومت کو میڈیا والوں سے بدتمیزی کرنے والے ضلعی مجسٹریٹ اور پولیس افسران کے خلاف سخت اقدامات اٹھانا چاہئے۔ افسران میڈیا افراد کو کوریج سے روک کر اپنی غلطیوں کو چھپانے کی ناکام کوشش کر رہے ہیں۔ ایسوسی ایشن کے ضلعی خزانچی دیپک شرما نے کہا ہے کہ ڈسٹرکٹ مجسٹریٹ اور پولیس افسران کی من مانی سے یہ واضح ہے کہ اتر پردیش میں بیوروکریسی کا غلبہ آچکا ہے۔ صرف ارکان پارلیمنٹ اور حکمراں جماعت کے ایم ایل اے ہی یوگی حکومت پر تنقید کر رہے ہیں۔
ہاتراس میں ، میڈیا افراد سے بدتمیزی کی شکایت وزیر اعظم ، مرکزی وزیر داخلہ اور پریس کونسل آف انڈیا کے پاس کی جائے گی۔

इंडियन जर्नलिस्ट एसोसिएशन ने हाथरस में बलात्कार पीड़िता की मौत की कवरेज के दौरान प्रशासन और पुलिस के अधिकारियों द्वारा मीडियाकर्मियों के साथ बदसलूकी की कड़ी निंदा की है। हाथरस के जिलाधिकारी और पुलिस अधीक्षक के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई करने की मांग की है।
इंडियन जर्नलिस्ट एसोसिएशन पश्चिमी उत्तर के प्रदेश सचिव साकिब अनवर ने कहा कि हाथरस में कवरेज के लिए जाने वाले पत्रकारों को रोका जा रहा है। यह अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता पर कुठाराघात है। अपनी गलतियों को उजागर करने से रोकने के प्रयासों से उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार की फजीहत हो रही है। बलात्कार पीड़िता की मौत और प्रशासन के रवैये की सच्चाई स्थानीय पत्रकारों और छोटे अखबारों के कारण ही सामने आई हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि मीडिया आज है, कल नहीं रहेगा कहकर पीड़िता के परिवार को धमकाने वाले जिलाधिकारी को तुरंत जिले से दफा करना चाहिए। योगी सरकार मीडिया पर रोक लगाने के बजाय अपने अफसरों की मनमानी पर रोक लगाए।
इंडियन जर्नलिस्ट एसोसिएशन के मैनपुरी जिला अध्यक्ष अजय दीक्षित ने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार को मीडियाकर्मियों से बदसलूकी करने वाले जिलाधिकारी और पुलिस अधिकारियों के खिलाफ कड़े कदम उठाने चाहिए। मीडियाकर्मियों को कवरेज से रोककर अफसर अपनी गलतियां छिपाने की नाकाम कोशिश कर रहे हैं। एसोसिएशन के जिला कोषाध्यक्ष दीपक शर्मा ने कहा है कि जिलाधिकारी और पुलिस के अफसरों की मनमानी करने से स्पष्ट हो रहा है कि उत्तर प्रदेश में अफसरशाही हावी हो गई है। सत्तारूढ़ दल के सांसद और विधायक ही योगी सरकार की आलोचना कर रहे हैं। हाथरस में मीडियाकर्मियों से साथ बदसलूकी शिकायत प्रधानमंत्री, केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री और भारतीय प्रेस परिषद से की जाएगी।
