Due to Kovid-19, this time government program will not be held in the fair.

The Maghi Punni Fair to be held every year in Rajim will be from 27 February to 11 March this year. Religious Trust and Religion Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu reviewed the preparations by meeting a meeting of departmental officers and officials of the Mela Committee at his Raipur residence office today. He said that in view of the Corona Guide Line of the Government of India, there will be no official program in the fair, but like the previous rains, all necessary arrangements should be made for the convenience of the devotees. He said that he had instructed collectors and Superintendents of Police of the three districts of Gariaband, Raipur and Dhamtari to ensure the safety, convenience and traffic arrangements of the pilgrims at the fair. He said that roads, toilets, electricity, water, health, sanitation etc. should be arranged for the convenience of the people like earlier rains and urged devotees coming to the fair to take precautions to avoid corona infection. Rajim Maghi Punni Mela will be held from 27 February to 11 March. During this, there will be three bathing festivals on 27 February, 6 March and 11 March.

राजिम में हर साल आयोजित होने वाले माघी पुन्नी मेला इस वर्ष 27 फरवरी से 11 मार्च तक होगा। धार्मिक न्यास एवं धर्मस्व मंत्री श्री ताम्रध्वज साहू ने आज अपने रायपुर निवास कार्यालय में विभागीय अधिकारियों और मेला समिति के पदाधिकारियों की बैठक लेकर तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत सरकार के कोरोना गाइड लाइन को देखते हुए मेले में किसी प्रकार का शासकीय कार्यक्रम नहीं किया जाएगा, लेकिन पूर्व वर्षाें की तरह श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा के लिए सभी आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएं पूर्ववत की जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि वे मेला स्थल जाकर केन्द्रीय मेला समिति की बैठक में तीनों जिलों गरियाबंद, रायपुर और धमतरी के कलेक्टरों और पुलिस अधीक्षकों को श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा, सहूलियत और यातायात की व्यवस्था सुनिष्चित करने के निर्देष दे चुके हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों की सुविधा के लिए पूर्व वर्षाें की तरह सड़क, शौचालय, बिजली, पानी, स्वास्थ्य, सफाई आदि की व्यवस्था की जाए और कोरोना संक्रमण से बचने के लिए मेले में आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं से सावधानी बरतने के लिए आग्रह किया जाए। राजिम माघी पुन्नी मेला का आयोजन 27 फरवरी से 11 मार्च तक होगा। इस दौरान 27 फरवरी, 6 मार्च और 11 मार्च को तीन स्नान पर्व होगा।
