Collector Rajat Bansal enthusiastically participated in adventure sports like rappelling rock climbing and trekking at Tamra Ghumar to promote Bastar tourism.
The beautiful image of Bastar, full of natural beauty, should be fully settled in the minds of tourists visiting here. For this, along with the cleanliness of the tourist places, the convenience of the tourists should be taken full care of. Collector Rajat Bansal said these things in the review meeting held at Lohandiguda. Discussions were on to promote eco-tourism in Bastar and to improve the arrangements of the tourism sector. On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Mr. Inderjit Chandrawal, Forest Divisional Officer Ms. Stylo Mandavi, Director of Kanger Valley National Park Ms. Vijaya Ratre along with officials of Revenue Department and Panchayat and Rural Development Department were present.
On this occasion, the collector said that the guides should also be sensitized for this, saying that they should lay maximum emphasis on securing the natural heritage of Bastar. He said that it is extremely important to remove the dirt caused by the use of plastic in tourism areas. In addition to arranging for the immediate lifting of plastic material in tourist areas, instructions were also given to impose fines on those throwing plastic materials here and there. Instructing the tourists to keep uniformity in the entry fee to be charged, the entry fee of two rupees for two-wheelers, twenty rupees for four-wheelers and maximum Rs 50 for big vehicles should be charged. He directed the members of the Tourism Committee to provide basic facilities like sanitation, drinking water, electricity and security to the tourists. He said that in some places complaints are received against the members of Tourism Committee. Action will be taken against such members. He asked the members of the Tourism Committee to demonstrate courteous treatment with tourists, which would further boost tourism in the region. Instructions were given for erecting vehicles in the no parking area around the tourist spots and for the fine against the tourists who violated the safety instructions. For this, instructions were given to provide identity cards to the members of the tourism committee and to appoint private security personnel. The Collector said that with the information of the rate of entry fee near the tourist places, along with an officer for the redressal of any type of complaint, the instructions were given to display all the necessary interpreting numbers. Directing swift action regarding the arrangement of home stay for tourists interested in the tribal culture of Bastar, said that in areas where tourist movement is high, it should be arranged immediately. He also inquired about the road marking for trekking in the Kanger Valley National Park area.

बस्तर के पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कलेक्टर रजत बंसल ने तामड़ा घुमर में रैपलिंग रॉक क्लाइम्बिंग और ट्रेकिंग जैसी एडवेंचरस स्पोर्ट्स में उत्साहपूर्वक शामिल हुए।
प्राकृतिक सुंदरता से भरपूर बस्तर की सुंदर छवि यहां आने वाले पर्यटकों के मन में पूरी तरह बस जानी चाहिए। इसके लिए पर्यटन स्थलों की स्वच्छता के साथ ही पर्यटकों की सहूलियत का पूरा ध्यान रखा जाना चाहिए। यह बातें कलेक्टर रजत बंसल ने लोहंडीगुड़ा आयोजित समीक्षा बैठक में कही। बस्तर में इको पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने और पर्यटन क्षेत्र की व्यवस्थाओं को बेहतर बनाने पर चर्चा की गई। इस अवसर पर जिला पंचायत के मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी श्री इंद्रजीत चंद्रवाल, वन मंडलाधिकारी सुश्री स्टायलो मंडावी, कांगेर घाटी राष्ट्रीय उद्यान की संचालक सुश्री विजया रात्रे सहित राजस्व विभाग तथा पंचायत एवं ग्रामीण विकास विभाग के अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
कलेक्टर ने इस अवसर पर बस्तर के प्राकृतिक धरोहरों को सुरक्षित रखने पर सबसे अधिक जोर देने की बात कहते हुए गाइडों को भी इसके लिए संवेदनशील बनाने की आवश्यकता बताई। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यटन क्षेत्रों में प्लास्टिक के उपयोग के कारण होने वाली गंदगी को दूर करना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। पर्यटन क्षेत्रों में प्लास्टिक सामग्री को तत्काल उठाने की व्यवस्था के साथ ही यहाँ-वहाँ प्लास्टिक सामग्री फेंकने वालों पर जुर्माना लगाने के निर्देश भी दिए। पर्यटकों से लिये जाने वाले प्रवेश शुल्क में एकरूपता रखने के निर्देश देते हुये कहा कि दुपहिया वाहनों से दस रुपए, चारपहिया वाहनों से बीस रुपए और इससे अधिक बड़ी वाहनों से अधिकतम 50 रुपए प्रवेश शुल्क लिया जाए। उन्होंने पर्यटकों को स्वच्छता, पेयजल, बिजली और सुरक्षा जैसी मूलभूत सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश पर्यटन समिति के सदस्यों को दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि कुछ स्थानों में पर्यटन समिति के सदस्यों के विरुद्ध प्राप्त होने वाली शिकायतें प्राप्त होती हैं । ऐसे सदस्यों के विरुद्ध कार्यवाही की जाएगी। उन्होंने पर्यटन समिति के सदस्यों को पर्यटकों के साथ विनम्र व्यवहार का प्रदर्शन करने को कहा, जिससे क्षेत्र में पर्यटन को और अधिक बढ़ावा मिले। पर्यटन स्थलों के आसपास नो पार्किंग क्षेत्र में वाहन खड़ी करने और सुरक्षा निर्देशों का उल्लंघन करने वाले पर्यटकों के विरुद्ध भी जुर्माने की कार्यवाही के निर्देश दिए गए। इसके लिए पर्यटन समिति के सदस्यों को परिचय पत्र प्रदान करने और निजी सुरक्षा कर्मी नियुक्त करने के निर्देश दिए गए। कलेक्टर ने कहा कि पर्यटन स्थलों के पास प्रवेश शुल्क के दर की जानकारी के साथ ही किसी भी प्रकार की शिकायत के निराकरण के लिए एक अधिकारी के साथ ही सभी आवश्यक दुरभाष नम्बर का प्रदर्शन करने के निर्देश दिए। बस्तर की आदिवासी संस्कृति में रूचि रखने वाले पर्यटकों के लिए होम स्टे की व्यवस्था के संबंध में तेजी से कार्यवाही के निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि जिन क्षेत्रों में पर्यटकों की आवाजाही अधिक है, वहाँ इसकी तत्काल व्यवस्था की जाए। उन्होंने कांगेर घाटी राष्ट्रीय उद्यान क्षेत्र में ट्रेकिंग के लिए मार्ग चिन्हांकन के संबंध में भी जानकारी ली।
